Exterior Painting

Our experience ranges from the surface preparation and painting of older heritage homes to newer homes. Before painting a house it must be cleaned thoroughly to remove all dirt, mildew, algae, and other debris from the surfaces of the home. We caulk all gaps - especially areas where water can get in and cause damage. Proper prep is extremely important for exterior house painting, and we take the time and use the products to make sure it lasts. When we paint exteriors, we use only top quality paint to ensure your home can stand up to weather and time. We always estimate to do two coats, unless it is a colour that requires more, all appropriate primers/undercoats are used where needed prior to finish coats. We do it right, to make sure it lasts.

Interior Painting

From prepping and painting one room or an entire house, new or old, modern or federation, we get the job done right. Once your furnishings and space is protected, the preparation begins. After cleaning surfaces to paint, we fill all holes with patching compound on your walls, sanding them smooth afterwards. We caulk all unsightly gaps in pieces of trim, and fill any nail holes. When we paint, we use the best products to make sure your paint job lasts. Unless otherwise specified or dictated by a product, we always paint two coats to ensure surfaces have proper protection and coverage. Deck & Stained Wood Refinishing

Have an old and worn deck? Have a new deck that requires protection? Delpro Professional Painting is happy to refinish or finish your deck. With older decks, we would use a wood wash to remove greying and discolouration of timber prior to applying protective finishes such as oils, estapols etc. With new decks we apply high quality stains that will give you the colour you want and will leave your deck looking beautiful.

Owner-managed Business

Delpro Professional Painting is an owner-managed business, with all facets of the job being organized, supervised, and completed by the owner, Dave. What this means is that when looking for painters, clients will know they deal with the owner directly from the initial estimate, daily during the painting process, and on completion during the final client “walk-through.” We feel proper planning and communication will limit the disruption to our clients’ homes and this is one of our primary goals.
